Dácio Gomyde Pretoni was born on April 25th, 1970 in São Paulo-SP-Brazil. Member founder of Rotary Club São Paulo New Generation since 1997. Club´s President on 2004/2005. Paul Harris Fellow. Father of a 10 years old boy Luiz Guilherme (also a Paul Harris Fellow). I've been working with consultancy (financial, IT, commercial) for the last 20 years and I am partner of some companies in Brasil. Loves family, sports and music.

José Edinaldo Andrade do Rosário was born on March 19th, 1982, in a small and poor village in Bahia (northeast of Brazil). Nobody in his family is able to write or read (they are illiterate). Therefore, he has pursued education throughout his life. Single, representing the Rotary Club Guarujá - Vicente de Carvalho, District 4420, he is a young journalist. He earned a full scholarship at the University and in high school, because he got the first position in the entrance exams. He has been working with journalism for seven years, especially in city halls. He also writes articles about education for a national magazine. He postgraduated in Contemporary World. For many reasons, he thinks this opportunity will bring positive influences to his professional and personal life. He always believed in his dreams and, because of this, he is going to Hong Kong.





Luís Cláudio da Silva Macedo

Luís Cláudio da Silva Macedo was born on June 7th 1970 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He studied at private schools and conclued his bachelos’s degree in 1992 in a public university in agronomy. He grew up in 6 brazilian states and lived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Since December 2003 he is a Federal Agricultural Control Officer, approved in a public contest. Today he works in the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply, working for the International Agricultural Surveillance Service at the port of Santos, state of São Paulo. Among other things, stand out inspection, certification, clearance, phytossanitary treatments, ship surveys, obtaining of samples, classification and clearance of cargos containing agricultural products in imports and exports. He integrated and participated in Rotaract Club Teresina Norte (District 4490) for 5 years. Single, representing Rotary Club José Bonifácio, he has some hobbies: listen to music, museums, read, theaters, history, geography, commercial aviation, swimming. He is fascinated by cultures and different languages and loves to receive agricultural foreign missions and show the harbour. His goal in this GSE program are: 1 – to know and to see official agricultural surveillance and quarantine system developed, 2 – To visit Agriculture Department (headquarters, port and airport) and Wood Packing Material Companies, 3 – Changing experience with federal agents and wood treatment companies engineers.



Maria Claudia A.G.Salaro

She’s 40 years old, Language Teacher and the owner of an awarded Language School called Saluton in Santos, Brazil, where she has being living for 13 years, but she was born in São Paulo. The name of her school means “Hi” in Esperanto, one language that has tried to be international but there are 600.000 users on Internet nowadays. She’s getting been married with Gabriel for six years. They don’t have children. She is the only child. She has graduated in Law, Pedagogy, Public Relations and she’s been teaching English, Spanish and French and Portuguese for foreign people for more than 15 years. In her company she works with language classes focused in Logistics and Tourism, Law and Media and Immersion Programs with Cultural focus with a getting to know Santos sightseeing. She is representing Santos Boqueirão Rotary Club and She is very glad to participate on this Interchange , because she knows that this is a single opportunity and maybe one of the most important on her life. She is very friendly and likes a lot to make new friends and contacts. She likes playing guitar, piano and keyboard and singing. She is keen on books and travels. She is completely available for helping with her background and with her knowledge in Language and teaching.

I was born in São Paulo on August 31st 1982. My parents are Taiwanese and I have a younger sister who is studying Economics. I graduated from the Universidade de São Paulo Law School in 2004. I am a tax attorney and I work at Pompeu Longo Kignel & Cipullo Advogados, a law firm established in São Paulo. I am also a former member of a pro bono law firm, Departamento Jurídico “XI de Agosto” (2001-2003). Besides my interest in legal professional experience, I am also interested in pro bono activities. I represent Rotary Club Aeroporto – São Paulo. My hobbies are: drawing, reading and jogging.
